Kurt Van Galder’s FREE presentation will have you soaring with the eagles! You will experience the nest cycle right up to the fledge flights and beyond. You will marvel and laugh at the mischief the immature eagles get involved with. The majesty of our national bird, their physical traits, and acute skills will be revealed in Kurt’s presentation.

Kurt M. Van Galder is a retired educator from Milton, WI. After a career teaching in Janesville at Craig HS and at Milton HS, he is now enjoying retirement and his twin hobbies of hiking and wildlife photography.

Kurt and his wife Carol Ann have traveled far and wide to photograph penguins in Antarctica, polar bears in Manitoba, puffins in Newfoundland, blue-footed boobies in the Galápagos Islands, and the wildebeest migration in Tanzania. However, Kurt does not have to travel far to see and photograph his favorite subject, the American Bald Eagle.
